Murderer Among Us

Arquinn Deandre Stafford, 37, sidestepped convictions for first-degree murder and aggravated robbery in the killing of Benjamin Sharkey. But the defendant’s lengthy criminal record means he hasn’t yet dodged a life term in prison.

Aubrey Oliver, 28 , has been charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. The charges stem from a shooting that left 43-year-old Ray B. Nunley dead early Saturday morning .

Alston, 23, of Washington, D.C., was taken to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said. The victim and the suspect knew each other, police said.
